Located near Dunsborough, Bunker Bay is an enchanting place that provides the perfect setting for a family picnic with plenty of shade in the form of beautiful native trees. Nearby is the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and Maritime Museum which provides fascinating maritime history of the Cape region as well as breathtaking panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, Cape Naturaliste, Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and the beautiful Geographe Bay coastline. Bunker Bay is perfectly located for the annual whale watching season, between September and December, when Southern Right, Humpback, Pygmy and Blue Whales are moving across Geographe Bay. Bottlenose dolphins are also regular inhabitants in and around the calm waters of Bunker Bay.
